(Sampson is the top picture and Eclipse it she bottom picture, if you forgot x3)

Sampson

Sampson slumped the side of his muscled body onto the snow flaked ground, the weight of him causing him to sink down into the crunchy substance. After a small struggle, he had rolled onto his back, his legs flailing in the air as he maneuvered his body into a awkward back rub. He knocked his hind against a tender part in the snow and the coldness around him caved in, a small avalanche of the white, flakes falling onto his bare patch on the inside of his hind legs. He immediately struggled to get back onto his front paws so he could shake the coldness from his freezing inner thighs. After he flopped on his back, he managed to grip his shoulder on a rock at the bottom of the inching snow and heave himself around. He finally, after a good few minuets of looking like a silly puppy, he had rose to him paws, a great clump of hard snow sticking around his legs.

After a quick inhale of humiliation, he walked with heavy limbs towards Eclipse. She had always acted like a sister to him. After nudging her shoulder quickly and with a small grin, he spoke in a very  low voice of his intentions. "I think i know a source of food. The foxes. It could be our only chance of a proper meal in a whole year." He barked, satisfied with his knowledge, but it seemed his 'sister' was not.

Eclipse

After a thorough groom of her legs and paws, the she-wolf inhaled the cold air faintly as she remembered what her alpha had previously said. A land of elsewhere, where the prey was endless and the warmth was glorious. The tree branches and leaves flowing with the breeze as it  entwined with her multi-colored pelt.  The final sense of spring as it turned into summer, the long days and the bearable heat and finally, a new generation, after so long, to be born. This did not seem like a paradise. This seemed like a heaven, just ready to be awoken with her alpha's word to move on and out. She wished she would make up her mind quickly. The lack of light was really starting to put the dog into a state of depression. But as she attempted to picture what the autumn would look like, a nudge grew her attention and she was soon staring at Sampson. She knew he meant well, but she hated disturbances.  "Yes, and the reason you  disturb me is...?" She paused and listened to his accuse. At first she wondered about it, the sight of her feast on a fox made her mouth drool, but no, this was a terrible idea, and Eclipse had her reasons. "No, dumbo. Okay, picture this. We attempted to catch a fox, we chase it, we attempted to chase it down into its sly little burrow. Bam, your stuck, and i am not going to be the one to get you out of there. Okay, now picture this, you somehow manage to catch a fox, you bring it back and to all these hungry faces, you are going to eat it in front of everyone? And finally, picture one more thing. You bring the fox back, some others want the large portion of meat and then there will be a huge fight over who gets the meat. I think the alpha has already thought of this, don't you?" She barked, huffing as she ended her description to her brother-like figure.

Sampson&Eclipse

After listening to the very wise words of his 'sister', the pair decided to sit together for a while. Sampson was attempting to see if snow would fill him up, and Eclipse was scanning her eyes outside of the territory, her ears acting like radars to pick up the sound of a bird, or at least a baby cheeping. But nothing. She just saw some other pack members feasting on some of the last birds and other small creatures she had decided not to chase, for his 'brothers' sake. Sampson finally gave up and realized eating snow was only going to make him shiver with the consequences. He needed his body temperature at a certain level to stand the cold conditions. As Sampson's stomach growled loudly and Eclipse attempted to settle into the snow, their alpha's call surround the area and both of the wolves instantly reacted by running forwards, toward the beautiful alpha and awaiting for her to lead the pack on-wards. Eclipse separated from Sampson as she started to sniff the ground in attempt to trace a scent of a larger creature, a rabbit at-least, but when she did find the scent, it most defiantly had something wrong with it.

After a few minuets, the pack had crowded and they started moving outwards, the alpha, as usual, trying her best to track down prey. Sampson was still thinking about a great hunk of fox meat in his belly and could not resist but dash forwards and sniff down one of their underground holes. Someone was home, but they was not likely to come out if Sampson was staring at them. Finally withdrawing his head, the gave his body a good shake from the muddy tunnel, Eclipse rolling her eyes with a certain look to say. "You will never catch one." After a few minuets of scanning, a fox was pouncing at a tiny hole in the ground, scratching to get to a mole that hid safely. Sampson gathered to a small canter as the fox withdrew with a successful catch. Eclipse was certain he was going to attempt to kill it, but she was mistaken as he had actually caught up with it, his jaws locking onto the mole dangling from its jaws. The fox seemed surprised but still hanged onto his catch Sampson was far more stronger than the orange tinted creature and it was easy enough to swing it around, but harder to grab the limp animal from it's jaws. But then, after a struggle with the sly fox, half of the mole broke in half and the fox made a hasty retreat down his nearby burrow. Sampson was succsefull with a small prize to show it with. It was not much, and the young wolf had not eaten in two days, so he decided to eat it awkwardly in-front of Eclipse who had came over to see what he had got. "That's it, pack it away little piggy." Eclipse smirked before turning around and walking back with her alpha. Sampson had swallowed the food without barely chewing it, a little guilty as to weather he should have offered it to someone else, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Apollo
The sound of paws made Apollo glance behind himself, having to blink a few times from the light. "Ah, Butch! Nice to see you," The male wolf grunted in appreciation as he saw the dead bird drop from the other young wolf's jaw. His heart did a little gymnastics routine as he scrambled upwards and took a step back, sniffing at the creature until he was sure it didn't have that terrible foaming mouth disease that so many of the smaller prey was beginning to fall to. "Mmm, this does look delicious, Butch," Apollo said, averting his gaze from the bird, a thought suddenly coming to his head. "But I'm currently not very hungry, though if you could do me a favor," His voice lowered so Arya wouldn't hear. "Could you please try and give this to Arya? She hasn't eaten in two days, and if I get near her with even the smallest piece of prey, she run away. Maybe you could try and coax her into eating a little? She's too arrogant to eat all of it, but I doubt she'd be stubborn enough to refuse from a higher rank." Apollo sat back again, sniffling as a snowflake landed directly on his nose. Glancing behind Butch he saw Inxis head out to hunt with most of the pack.

Mesmerized momentarily, Apollo gazed at them all until he realized one wolf was trotting away with them; one that he'd hoped was going to stay behind. "Arya!" He barked sharply, then more quietly back to Butch. "If you'd do it, you better leave now; seems as if Arya wants to head out for a walk with the rest of the pack." He pointed his snout toward her body stopping abruptly and glaring at him. Frost covered her face, and she looked like a white wolf. He couldn't help but chuckle a bit. "Wait for a minute, Saffy." An angry snarl erupted from her throat at the nickname. "Don't call me that!" She snapped, though she stopped from hurrying after the leaving party. Her annoyed and impatient golden eyes locked with his and she obviously wanted to rip his tail off later.

Arya
The female was about to shift again to get blood pumping through her veins. Arya swiveled her ears back as she heard Inxis's familiar voice, calling for the pack if they wanted to head out for a little walk. Grateful for the reason to get up and move around, she moved to her paws and then stretched quickly, a deep rumble coming from her chest. The last wolf's trail was disappearing into the forest, and Arya spun around, preparing to bound after them. Just as she was in midstride, Apollo's bark made her stumble to the ground. She shot him a hard glare before he told her to wait for a moment, using the most annoying nickname he'd ever given her: Saffy. How embarrassing was that? Arya drew her lips back, baring her teeth and snarling. "This better be good." The realization that a council member was next to him shocked her and immediately she thought back to the day before, going over everything she did, thinking about anything that could've possibly gotten her into a mess of things. Although nothing seemed too bad and the other young male wolf, Butch, didn't look like he was going to yell at her, she kept her guard up.

Her ears swiveled again, listening to the fading paw steps of her pack-mates as they walked away from where she stood. Arya began in her mind everything she was going to yell at Apollo for. One: Keeping me here, two: calling me Saffy, three: making me stumble while I was midstride and making me look like an idiot... Arya lowered her head closer to the ground, closing her eyes at a sudden gush of wind pummeling her face and fur. Her tail curled inward toward the wind, wrapping part way around her left hind leg. Her two front paws edged forward, placing her in a more sturdy position. As every heartbeat went by, she began to want to bite Apollo more and more after she got back, but she waited impatiently. Her eyes obviously didn't catch sight of the dead bird at Apollo feet, as her stern gaze was fixed on both of the male wolves' faces.

Faolan
While others got up around him in the very early morning, Faolan remained on the somewhat warm ground. Gold eyes watched like a hawk while the others wandered outside and interacted. As one of the largest members of the pack, Faolan also contained the most body heat. The male was not accustomed to social interaction, but he allowed others to use him for warmth through the night since he only found it logical. Logic was the rhyme and reason behind every action this wolf made. Even as a pup, when the situation around him was going downhill, Faolan refused to interact with his fellow pups. He would stare at them in curiosity and often study his elders in their actions as compared to his peers. Nonsense such as rough playing and romping in the snow was not for Faolan, the giant taking comfort in observation and analysis. This wasn't to say that Faolan didn't play fight. With time, he realized the necessity for building muscle through the sport and found himself participating when he was turning one year old.

His eyes fixed onto his young alpha. While Inxis was young and, at times, naive, she was not the worst leader. That was the biggest compliment Faolan could probably ever offer her until she aged a bit and became more mature. He expected nothing less from the small, energetic leader, but he had hoped she would mature faster with the pack's eyes constantly on her. He noticed recently the stress in her body. It was somewhat hard to miss, but the majority of the pack was too focused on their hunger to focus on the stress levels of their alpha. Faolan noticed everything, though. It was considered an annoying quirk about the wolf when it came to his subordinates. He found his hyper-awareness to be a helpful skill to have. Thinking of moving to get his joints functioning, the main council member thought against it as a skinny frame snuggled closer to him. Tensing due to the contact, Faolan watched the young male beside him for a minute before relaxing only slightly. Deciding against moving, he waited in the den for more wolves to wake up.

Faolan's ever watchful eyes focused on the continuing events with his alpha, the subordinates, and his fellow council members until Inxis called for a morning walk to look for food. He moved immediately, not feeling any pity for those who were so roughly woken up by his sudden movement to get up. Walking quickly into the cold air, Faolan passed by Butch, Arya, and Apollo. Glancing down at the prey, Faolan passed it by as he had already witnessed Apollo inspecting the kill and finding it clean. Faolan held little respect for Butch. Perhaps it was the wolf's young age or it was the naivety of him, but Faolan just didn't find himself appreciating the young wolf. The fresh kill had gotten his attention when he was in the den still and he was wary of the new meat. If Apollo didn't back up from it originally, he would have leaped out of the den to snarl at Apollo to back off until it was clear to eat. Thankful for Apollo's own mindfulness, Faolan passed the three without more than a second's glance at each of them. Catching up to the alpha, Faolan remained only a few steps behind her as he kept note of her while sniffing out his own prey. While Inxis ran after some bird, Faolan hung back, his eyes on some commotion coming from behind him. He backtracked to find Sampson and Eclipse lagging behind. he noticed Sampson swallow something. Hoping the wolf had judged the meal safe to eat before he ate it, Faolan approached the pair. "You may want to be careful when eating something without one of the higher ups noticing. If a hungry subordinate had caught you, a fight could have erupted, thinking we were picking favorites."

Despite who made the catch, Faolan wanted to ensure everyone was fed based on need. He had not eaten for about a week, but wasn't too bothered by it. He blamed this on his ability to go awhile without eating, which he thanked his ancestors every day for. The smaller wolves had a greater risk of starving so he often offered his meal to someone smaller. Faolan turned from the two since his only purpose was to offer a warning, and made off towards where Inxis had disappeared to. Hearing her bark, Faolan hurried his pace and approached the distressed alpha, looking to where the birds were disappearing as Inxis seemed to be distressed about them. "They are only birds, Inxis," he stated, a hint of confusion in his voice as he regarded his alpha with caution, unsure of the reason behind her stress.

Katalia
Katalia snapped back to reality when she heard their alpha's familiar voice, Katalia yawned before standing up. The slowly falling snow covered her in the white flakes, she shook the snow from her fur before making her way towards Inxis. It was time to find food for the pack, if they were lucky they might be able to find a small squirrel or bird, but any big prey had left. Soon they entered the forest, Katalia took a place right behind Inxis. The chirping of birds rang overhead, alerting most of the prey of their presence. Katalia growled with irritation, they needed to find food for the pack. Katalia could hear the sounds of claws scratching against the bark of the trees as small creatures ran to their homes to prevent becoming a possible meal for a pack of hungry wolves. Suddenly Inxis ran forward, Katalia didn't know what she was after but she followed her. Katalia almost slammed into her when she froze "What's wrong Inxis?" she asked quietly, maybe she was chasing something for the pack to eat.
Katalia watched in confusion as Inxis darted her head left and right, had she gone mad? As Kat scanned the area her gaze stopped at a blackbird. She was prepared to pounce on it, but what happened next surprised her. Inxis walked right up to the bird as if she were having a silent conversation. Kat tilted her head as the bird pecked her nose then squawked before flying into the sky to join it's comrades. Katalia watched the birds for a moment, Kat knew just where they were heading. She lowered her ears then looked at Inxis "Do they want us to follow them?" Katalia looked back at the pack, she knew some of them didn't believe in Elyaris but she did. She looked back up to where the birds had flown, she wondered if they were meant to follow.

[size=8]Ill let you look inside me, through the s t a i n s and through the c r a c k s

[size=8]And in the darkness of this moment, you see the good and the bad.

[size=8]But try not to judge me, 'cause we've walked down different paths,

But it brought us here together, so I won't take that back.

Inxis scanned the skies slightly as the birds started to disappear from her sight, and her copper-eyed gaze continued staring at the last of the black birds, before they disappeared totally, which made her tail swish lightly in response. Her thoughts were on that dream- however she didn't know whether to follow or not, mostly due to the fact her dreams would always get her in trouble- and most of the ones in her pack wouldn't like the idea. Many obviously didn't like her due to the fact most didn't enjoy her new leadership. Her tail was slightly high- mostly to show her rank in the pack, but she wanted to droop it so low due to how high her stress level was. The female's eyes closed as she sat in the snow, only turning her head to glance at Katalia, who had seemed to follow her. Inxis hoped she didn't think she was crazy for chasing after a bird- then staring at it- that might be a chance for food! But Inxis felt as if she had tried to kill that bird- something could have happened- possibly something bad?  The wolf began to think about the pack- what would they think of her strange sort of vision? They'd probably attempt to over-throw her, or something such as that, but the more she continued to stare off into the distance, the more she felt compelled to go off in the direction. Her thoughts were quickly interrupted however, as the white wolf in front of her spoke.

"I don't know, I guess." She answered to her question, ears lowering a bit as she continued to eye the skies, only glancing back to Katalie when she was about to give her another answer. "I had this vision, or dream I guess, it was about these ravens." She started to explain, and was about to speak once more when she felt something small crash right into the side of her head. The female alpha gave a loud snap at the air, her teeth grasping something as she looked to the sky, just missing whatever had decided to crash into her as it quickly darted right out of her sight. In her mouth, she felt something, and quickly spit it out, realizing it was a black feather, of a raven. The female alpha turned around as she eyed Faolan come into view, her tail swished in greeting, as he began to question her about what she was doing. The female alpha gave a sigh, explaining what she had saw in her so-called 'vision', before her head swiveled to stare off into the direction. "I think we should follow them." She spoke, watching as a few other ravens seemed to be flying off in that direction, however, she couldn't help but think, was she going crazy? Inxis gave a low sigh, her usual happy-mood not showing as a more cold aura danced around the female.

Deciding to however- ask the main council, she decided they'd go after she got a few answers from the other higher ranks in the pack- possibly ask some others but she was straight on the fact that they were going. Inxis wasn't that much of a young pup was she? She could make good decisions when needed! The female shook her head, realizing she got caught up in her thoughts far too often as she looked over towards the snow, the alpha decided, might as well find some food for the others. She eyed the two others that followed her during her little run, before taking off in the direction she saw the tiniest bit of movement, her paws quiet as she eyed the land. Maybe a rabbit would be their lucky snack today? They were usually skinny due to the lack of vegetation, but food was food. The alpha didn't go off far however, only going a small distance before managing to grab a rabbit, it was slightly bigger than the ones she was used to eating, however she decided to give it to a member of the pack before she ate. She wasn't starving, she knew that, but she was hungry, but others could be starving, which is why she quickly began to trot back to where most of the others where, however her ears continued to lay down atop her head, giving her a more sad-look about her, however didn't really mind as her thoughts were jumbled at the moment. She walked to where most of her pack was, and sat down, eyeing the others to see who'd get te rabbit.

Sampson

As the alpha paused for a few moment as her eyes located and fixed onto a some movement among the snow piles, the tender-eyed wolf slumped himself on the ground, a itch growing on his shoulder. He twitched his fur and rose one of his hind legs, giving the spot a long itch with his large paws and nails. The day was becoming boring, for there was nothing to do. When he was back with his mother, he was able to do anything he pleased. Birds where able to be chased without being scolded, the weather was so warm he was able to sunbathe on his back, and the trees where so beautiful, yet the only thing to do was to weave around them. But when the wolf left for the wild, the birds where sacred  and had to be rationed, the weather was freezing and he was unable to do fun activity's, for his energy had to be saved and the tree's had lost their kindness, but showed the hardship of living in the wild. Sampson though would have never made it another winter, if it wasn't for Eclipse who found him sleeping with his head rammed in a fox hole, fox kits licking constantly at his nose and muzzle. After he had ran away from a angry father of a daughter, the young wolf was desperate for a pack. He did not care if he was the lowest rank, the scruffy one, the looser, he just needed to be around his own kind. He needed a friend. Eclipse was the one who helped Sampson out of the fox hole and they stayed the night together, helping each other to keep warm by curling into a tight ball in the shade of the forest. Sampson was so thankful for this, and he looked at Eclipse as a very close sister, rather than a potential mate.  After the weeks rolled by of looking out for each other, they finally found a willing pack to accept them as their own. Their lives was saved and the two acquaintances  lived in harmony, for a while that is. They started to row like brother and sisters and they grew apart, although deep down, they still both cared for each other. Sampson paused in his thoughts and realized the alpha had caught that rabbit, Eclipse talking to her. Sampson's ears flattened. He was worried because of her low rank that she was unable to speak. He snorted, trying to distract Eclipse, but she was taking none of it. She was determined to speak.

Eclipse
As she watched her alpha dash after a rabbit and catch it with success, Eclipse realized how easy it was to get lost in concentration. Her dark hazel eyes cast a glance at the pure white landscape, the snow settling on her snout for the first time without her head shaking it off. The icy air whistled around her ears, causing her skin to tingle and sting. Paw pads started to numb as she sat, her gaze glassy as she forgot to blink. She stayed quite Snug inside her many layers of thick fur. The she-wolf raised to her paws and took a step forwards as a Robin averted her view. She continued to walk in enchantment of his red breast, it's feathers soft and fluffy, it's body as warm as a oven on a low heat. Every step she took left a fresh, crisp paw print in the snow, as if she was the only creature to have ever been here. Snowflakes fall gently from the sky, tickling the end of her moist nose.

The branches of the trees bow with the heavy load they are carrying, bending towards the floor. It made her think, that if only they could shake themselves like she would covered in water; they would be free. Everything glistens, as if a fairy has sprinkled her dust over the entire world. Colors are brighter against the pure white blanket that spreads as far as the eye can see. The Robin tweeted as it ruffled its feathers. It had no problem with surviving. Such beauty made her love the harsh land. It was the only thing she wanted to thrive for.

The air smelt pure and fresh. Everything seemed quiet accept for the huff of the wolves and the cheeping of the Robin. This muffled as she continued to day dream. She was about to bark to see it's beauty in full action, it's fragile wings flapping frantically as it held up it's fat belly, but the rush and hush of one of her pack mates ripping apart the left carcas of a vole interrupted her. She turned and stared, inhaling the clear, fresh oxygen. Her body shook, walking with pride to her alpha. "I hope you do not mind me saying, and please do not think of me as a pest my Alpha, but  then i was a pup my mother always told me to follow your heart. I have done so for so long and if it was not for that, i would not end up where i am today. I think you should consider your hearts feeling, for i am sure it rest's with your pack, and its well-fair." She spoke, inhaling quickly. She was never sure if she was able to talk to her alpha, for she was not one of the main council, but she had to do something. Her and Sampson where turning savage out of hunger. She even found herself chewing his tail whilst he slept. Her eyes diverted to the rabbit but decided not to take it. She felt quite embarrassed if she wanted it to go to one of her higher ranked wolves.
