Bro's Graphics! [Replaced by FHD]
« on: September 17, 2012, 12:18:23 pm »

This mod is now a part of FeralHeart HD, which can be downloaded here.

I will not check these threads very often now as they are considered obsolete.

You'll likely have the version found elsewhere on the forums, that only adds bloom. Incase you didn't notice, this adds a fair bit more.

Perfect!

You can't imagine how grateful I am ^^ The ENB mod was exactly what I was looking for, but once I downloaded it I was stuck with the settings and didn't have a clue how to change it to my liking. I've edited some settings thanks to your explanations and downloaded the version you made.

I have one thing though: I got rid of the motion blur (when you move the camera around), which suited me better. However I don't know how to fix the blurry background. I mean, I do like the blurriness of it, but to me, on my screen, it looks a little patchy, like cotton balls smudged the background instead of the smooth finish I see your pictures have. Any ideas?

Anyway! It's amazing, thanks again!

It's a shame, but the only reason the depth of field in my screenshots looks smoother, is because the images were scaled down. Your best bet would just be to disable it as well. I really hate to say that, I've been up all night trying to find a way to get the depth of field to render smoother, but I have not found one. Also, somewhere in this game, there is a hidden shadow renderer. I'm searching for it avidly.

[EDIT] Depth of Field has been fixed as of Version 2.0

The way it works, is, that, based on depth, it will spread individual pixels away from each other. An easy way to imagine this is to look at your hand up close. Ignore how the background blurs, but focus on the double image that results. It does this, at a pixel level, spreading pixels around randomly. Sadly, it looks... considerably bad, as there is no filtering, or blurring as such.

Either way I still love it, I can live with that. c: If I find the shadow renderer I'll let you know.
